Ashampoo Burning-Studio-Free 6.75
- A great free CD/DVD Burner.
- No need to stop all running programs.
- After burning the CD or DVD is left open for more files, photos and audio.
- Most burners close up after you finish burning the first time.
- Get it on March Club CD and Website.
- It is about 6 MB in size.
When you install close all running programs. The procedure is on the website under "Software". Scroll down to near the bottom.
Registration is a long process. Uncheck.

To get a discount on Version 8 Upgrade,
install the free version 6.75 and then, click on "Internet"
Click "Upgrade to Ashampoo Burning Studio 8"
- You can get version 8 for $12.99 CDN.
- You may not want the full support or a CD copy, uncheck.
- If you are burning photos, audio, copying CDs/DVDs only, you do not need this upgrade.
An important thing to do is to back-up your photos to a CD or DVD.
If you get a hard drive crash you could loose all your photos.
To back up some photos to a CD or DVD
- Start Ashampoo Burning Studio 6
- Click on "Burn Files and Folders
- Click on "Create a New CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Disk"

Click "Add".
Click "My Documents" and double click "My Pictures".

Click on the picture you want to burn, in this case we are burning, "Bruce Pix". Now click on "Add".
Repeat for any other photos you wish to burn, and when finished click "Finish".
Click "Next".
Open your burner drawer and put a CD or DVD into the tray.
When it comes up-to-speed you will see a blue ruler on the bottom. It indicates how much space is left after you burn these photos.
Wait for "Please click on Write CD" or "Write DVD" to proceed" and then click on "Write CD>" or "Write DVD>"
- The photos are burned on the disk and when finished you click on "OK"
- Don't forget to write what you have burned and the date on the CD/DVD. I use a Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Marker.
To add some photos to this CD or DVD bring Ashampoo Burning Studio up again and click on "Update an Existing CD?DVD/Blu-Ray Disk"

Insert the CD or DCD
- When you see "Please click on "Next" do it to proceed.
- Look at the blue ruler to see if you have space.
- Use the same proceedure as before to add some more photos.
- When done click "Finish" and click "Next".
- As before click "Write DVD" or "Write CD".
- Write on the dish what you have added with the date.
Remove and store the disk in a safe place away from extreme heat, cold and sunlight.
