Ensure all boxes are checked.
Click "Save changes".

CCleaner 3.0

Some new features include:

A drive wiping tool that can scrub the available free space or it can wipe all the data from your hard drive.
Click on "Tools" then "Drive Wiper".

Under "Wipe" you can select "Free Space Only". There is also a choice to wipe the entire drive. All data will be erased.
BE CAREFULL WITH THIS CHOICE. YOU COULD LOSE YOUR WHOLE DRIVE!

Wiping free space erases the data left over from previous files that are deleted.
You may be giving your PC to someone and there is a possibility, with the right software, they could recover some of your deleted files.
Wiping free space should stop that.

A Simple Overwrite (1 pass) is usually enough to wipe but you could click and choose another overwrite option. It will take longer to wipe 3 to 25 times.

You must choose a drive. Usually the "C:" drive. Do not wipe a Recovery drive.

You can now select specific Internet cookies to keep, across all your browsers.
At first time usage, prompt to enable intelligent cookie removal.
Uninstall old version, and then install new one to invoke.

CCleaner also will now Clean Flash Cookies.

What are Flash cookies?
A new way of tracing your internet movement, storing more info than normal cookies.
Normal cookies size is up to 4kb, Flash cookies are up to 100kb and they are not located with normal cookies.
CCleaner 3 deletes them.

Ensure "Adobe Flash Player" in "Multimedia" is checked.

Another way to remove Flash Cookies is to download a Flash Cookie Cleaner from Flash Cookie Cleaner.
