Canadian Federal Government Tax Fairness Plan
Canada’s New Government recently proposed a Tax Fairness Plan that would deliver
new tax relief annually for Canadians beginning 1st January, 2006. For the rest

Pension income splitting.
Many Canadians face challenges in planning and managing their retirement income.
Coupled with the desire to provide targeted assistance to pensioners, beginning
for the 2007 taxation year, Canadian residents who receive income that qualifies
for the existing pension income tax credit will be permitted to allocate to their
resident spouse (or common-law partner) up to one-half of that income. To view

IMPORTANT BULLETIN
Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 98, 98SE and ME on March 30/06.
However, Microsoft sent a confidential memo to its developer network saying
that it would support these operating systems until July 11/06.
This information is not intended to be released by Microsoft to the public.
After July 11/06, no trace of Windows 98, 98SE or ME will be able to
be found on Microsoft sites.

PhoneBusters Web Site
PhoneBusters is a national anti-fraud call centre
jointly operated by the Ontario Provincial Police
and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. PhoneBusters
plays a key role in educating the public about
specific fraudulent telemarketing pitches. The call
centre also plays a vital role in the collection and
dissemination of victim evidence, statistics, documentation
and tape recordings which are made available to outside
law enforcement agencies.
