But there is a problem

AdAware 2007 Free has a memory leak problem.

A memory leak is an unintentional memory consumption by a computer program where the program fails to release memory when no longer needed.

Suggestions

Do not install AdAware 2007 Free until we find it is fixed.

Use Spybot and Windows Defender for now.

Use an older version AdAware SE Personal.  For now it looks like they are providing updates for it.  You can get a back version here…

Usually, when they stop providing updates for back versions they inform you, but sometimes all you know is that your program is up-to-date for many days.
