- When I try to update Adaware,
I keep getting a message "definition error" please explain.
Answer:
- Because you downloaded and installed the new version "aaw2007.exe" from our club CD of Software,
your likely problem is related to your Firewall.
- Temporarily suspend the operation of your firewall and try to update again.

- Is there an easy way to
put pictures from Picassa into gmail?
Answer:
- You can generate your email from inside Picassa.
- In Picassa, once you have your photos in the viewing window, click "File", Select "E-Mail" and follow the instructions.
- Picassa will use your Outlook Express to actually send the photo email.

- When composing an email
in gmail I find I have to type in all the email addresses - please advise.
Answer:
- Check your "Contact"s to ensure that you have valid email addresses - Expecially if
you transferred them from Outlook Express.
- If your Contacts are correct, you enter email addresses in the "to/cc/bcc" boxes by
typing in the first letter of the first or last name and a list of emails corresponding to
that letter will pop up for your selection.

- Please review how to change
properties of viewing folders.
Answer:
- On the top bar menu of any folder, click on "View" - Select "Thumbnails"
- For you next option in "View" - Select "Tiles"
- For you next option in "View" - Select "Icons"
- For you next option in "View" - Select "List"
- For you next option in "View" - Select "Details"
- You now have the option of making any of these views your default for all the folders on your computer:
- Click on "Tools" and select "Folder Options"
- Under the "View" tab, Click on "Apply to all folders" - then Click on the "Apply" button at the bottom right of window.
- This will ensure that all the folders default view will be the one you selected.
- To make any particular folder view unique, just select the view for that folder. A good example of this would be "Thumbnails"
for a folder of photos or images. You probably would not want all your "folder views" to be thumbnails.
- To lock in the view of just one folder, click the view you want, then close the folder while holding down the "Shift" key to
lock in that view.

- Please explain how I would
transfer photos on my computer in to my electronic picture frame.
Answer:
- Plug in the USB connecting cable from your Electronic Picture Frame [EPF] to your computer.
- Open the EPF in a window to view files, by making that selection when you plug into the USB port. [You will have a menu of choices]
- Make a folder on your desktop to hold all the photos that you want to put on your EPF.
- Determine the viewing sequence of your photos and rename each photo by inserting a sequence number as the first 2 or 3 characters.
- You do this by clicking the right mouse button on each photo icon in the folder and selecting "rename"
- For example: mycat.jpg and mydog.jpg are your photos and you want the dog first: 02mycat.jpg and 01mydog.jpg
- By doing this, you force the EPF to show the photos in the sequence that you have decided ahead of time
- After you have all your photos ready, click "Edit" from the top menu of your desktop folder and Click on "Select All"
- Open your EPF window, click your right mouse button on an empty area of the window and select "Paste"
- That's it. Close your windows. Unplug your EPF from the computer and give it a try.
