Frank's discussed his Credit Card limit of $500 for internet and telephone purchases
Answer:
- Frank uses a special credit card with a $500.00 limit to restrict his liability
in case of fraud on the internet or when using it over the telephone.
- NOTE: You have to contact the Credit Card company and specifically
ask to NOT have your maximum increased. $500 is the smallest amount
that most of these companies will use as a maximum.

How do you control all the photos that load down?
Answer:
-
When you visit a web site, your browser will automatically store all icons, images,
etc from that web site onto the browser's cache area and keep them.
- If you visit
multiple sites, this cache fills up and when it wants to put new items in, it deletes
the oldest site items.
- To control this area:
In Internet Explorer:
- Click on top menu item "Tools" (If menu not there, press "Alt" key)
- Select "Internet Options"
- To clear the cache, Click "Delete"
- To set the amount of storage for internet page items, Click "Settings"
- Make all the appropriate settings and click "OK" to lock them in.
- Close the open windows and you're good to go.
In Firefox:
- Click on top menu item "Tools"
- Select "Internet Options"
- Click "Privacy" tab
- Under "Private Data" heading click "Settings"
- Make the appropriate settings and Click "OK"
- Click "Clear Now" to clean out the cache.
- Close the open window and you're good to go.

the left side menu on our web site.
Answer:

The club web site consists of a multitude of tables which act differently
in different versions of browsers. Some Microsoft browsers do not follow
the international standards for web page construction and cause weird

How do you get rid of the Clipboard message
after Cut & Paste in EBay?
Answer:
-
There are TWO clipboards. Office has its own clipboard
which allows mutliple items, and Windows has a separate clipboard. The
Office clipboard is only available within
Office, but the Windows clipboard is available everywhere.
- The Windows clipboard is being used with Internet Explorer (or Firefox) when
you are working with EBay. Accept the Clipboard idiosyncrocies because that
is the only way to move your text.

Resolution of monitor puts items on desktop too large that the "X" not
available. Can't get the page to reduce. How can the member correct this?
Answer:
- Charlie LeBer says:
"I finally brought up the system in Safe Mode using the F5 key at startup.
The desktop was normal size and I could access the monitor display
and reset the monitor display settings. I completely shut down the
system, brought it up in normal mode and for whatever reason,
the screen size held and desktop was back to normal."
- Frank's note:
Some computers use F8 to get into Safe Mode. If neither of these
F Keys work, then you must press your "F Lock" key to revert your
F Keys back to Windows Standards just before you press F5 or F8.

A Member receives a message that "Virtual memory is low"
Answer:
- You could require more RAM.
- Windows XP users should have a minimum or 512MB or better still 1GB of RAM.
- Your hard drive may be out of space.
- To check, click on My Computer and right click on Drive C.
- Click properties.
- You should have 25% free space on your hard drive.
- If you do not, try removing data and programs you do not need.
- Try burning your photos to a CD or DVD and deleting them from your hard drive.
-
It is also caused by running too many concurrent programs
with your virtual memory set too low.
- If this is true, you must change the size of virtual memory or reduce the number
of programs running at the same time.
- The instructions to adjust
your virtual memory are located here:
-
